Detailed Work Guidelines for the "2024 Asia Import-Export Trade Industry Technology Innovation Pioneer" Selection

The "Asia Import-Export Trade Industry Technology Innovation Pioneer" award is a specialized figure-focused award established by the Asia Pacific Institute for Strategy (APIFS). Its purpose is to systematically identify and showcase representative groups of technology innovation talents within the Asian import-export trade field, construct a regional map of trade technology innovation figures, and promote the establishment of a talent benchmarking system oriented towards "Technical Capability + Practical Ability + Industrial Collaboration." The award is presented annually. The following are the detailed work guidelines for the "2024 Asia Import-Export Trade Industry Technology Innovation Pioneer" award.

I. Positioning of the Event

This selection activity is guided by the core principle of "Technology Empowering Trade, Innovation Driving Structural Upgrading." It focuses on representative figures within the import-export trade sector who utilize technological means to drive the restructuring of business systems, process reengineering, and system upgrades. The goal is to construct an evaluation system for "Technology-Oriented Practical Leaders" suited to the future form of trade, establishing identifiable, disseminable, and learnable industry innovation paradigms.

Open to individuals within Asia's import-export trade and related fields, including:

Entrepreneurs, industry leaders

Heads of technology innovation, technical experts

Innovators in digital trade, cross-border e-commerce, and smart logistics

Experts from research institutions and think tanks

IV. Evaluation Criteria

1．Innovativeness: Candidates should possess an innovative spirit and professional innovation capabilities. They should have achieved technological innovation results within the import-export trade industry, with a high degree of innovation, uniqueness, and foresight. The focus is on evaluating whether the innovations solve significant industry problems, fill market gaps, or lead industry development directions.

2．Practicality and Scalability: Candidates' innovative achievements should have a leading and exemplary effect. The focus is on evaluating the performance and sustainability of their technological innovations in practical applications within the import-export trade industry. Emphasis is on whether the innovations can bring substantive improvements and enhancements to the industry and possess value for promotion and replication.

3．Influence: Candidates' influence and reputation within the import-export trade industry. The focus is on evaluating the positive impact of their technological innovations on industry development, enterprise operations, or user experience, as well as their visibility and recognition within the industry.

4．Contribution: Candidates' personal contribution and professional capability within the import-export trade industry. The focus is on evaluating their leading role in the technological innovation process, teamwork skills, professional knowledge, and experience.

Preliminary Review Phase: December 1, 2024 – December 10, 2024

Comprehensive Evaluation Phase: December 11, 2024 – December 18, 2024

Result Announcement Phase: Results will be announced through official channels in late December 2024.

VII. Presentation of Outcomes

This selection does not solely focus on an "award ceremony" as its output. The emphasis is on building long-term communication and industry value systems, including:

1．Establishing the Asian Import-Export Trade Technology Innovation Figures Case Study Database.

2．Publishing the Asian Import-Export Trade Technology Innovation Figures Observation Report.

3．Incorporating the results into the APIFS trade research framework and case study library.

4．Forming mechanisms for industry exchange and collaboration facilitation.

5．Participating in follow-up research projects and thematic seminars.

VIII. Special Notes

1．This selection is a research-oriented and industry-building project; there are no application fees.

2．All materials will be used solely for research analysis, case development, and industry development exchange.

3．The Asia Pacific Institute for Strategy reserves the right to interpret this project.

“亞洲進出口貿易行業科技創新先鋒人物”獎項是亞太策略研究所，為系統識別和集中展示亞洲進出口貿易領域具有代表性的科技創新人才群體，構建區域貿易科技創新人物圖譜，推動形成以“技術能力 + 實務能力 +產業協同”為導向的人才標杆體系，專項設置的人物類獎項，該獎項每年評選一次。以下為“2024亞洲進出口貿易行業科技創新先鋒人物”獎項具體評選工作細則。

一、活動定位

本評選活動以“技術賦能貿易、創新驅動結構升級”為核心導向，聚焦進出口貿易領域中通過技術手段推動業務體系重構、流程再造與系統升級的代表性人物，構建面向未來貿易形態的“科技型實務領軍人才”評價體系，形成可識別、可傳播、可學習的行業創新範式。

四、評審標準

1、創新性：參選人具有創新精神和專業創新能力。參選人在進出口貿易行業中取得過科技創新成果，且科技成果的創新程度高，具有獨特性和前瞻性。評估重點是解決了行業內的重要問題、填補了市場空白或引領了行業發展方向。

2、實用性和可推廣性：參選人取得的創新成就具有引領示範效應。其科技創新成果在進出口貿易行業實際應用中的表現出效果和可持續性。評估重點是科技創新是否能夠為進出口貿易行業帶來實質性的改進和提升，並具有一定的推廣和複製價值。

3、影響力：參選人在進出口貿易行業中的影響力和聲譽。評估重點是參選人的科技創新成果對行業發展、企業運營或用戶體驗等方面帶來的積極影響，以及其在行業內的知名度和認可度。

4、貢獻度：參選人在進出口貿易行業中的個人貢獻和專業能力。評估重點是參選人在科技創新過程中的主導作用、團隊協作能力、專業知識和經驗等方面的表現。

2.發佈《亞洲進出口貿易科技創新人物觀察報告》；

3.納入APIFS貿易研究體系與案例研究庫；

4.形成行業交流與合作對接機制；

5.參與後續研究專案與專題研討活動。

八、特別說明

1.本評選為研究型與行業建設型專案，不設報名費用；

2.所有資料僅用於研究分析、案例建設與行業發展交流；

3.本項目解釋權歸亞太策略研究所所有。
